Hello? Is there anybody in there?
brenda, creative, music, rant October 11th, 2007Hello… hello… hello? Is there anybody in there?
Now I know for a fact that last post was dang funny. Is there anybody out there reading this stuff? Without comments I’m just whistling in the dark on this stuff people. :-)
On the subject of music links… Do most couples have a song? If they do it’s probably one of the two that decides what it is. As in, “Oh listen, they’re playing our song!” You know what I mean, no?
So your interesting trivia for the day: Brenda and my song is comfortably numb.
There is no pain you are receding… A distant ship smoke on the horizon… You would not understand - this is not how I am. Woooh! Wonderful, wonderful stuff. On par with go ask Alice. Very powerful.
But to the point! Please, leave comments! Otherwise to the best of my knowledge I’m talking to myself. Which is not uncommon. :) But I’m still curious if it’s worth the time spell checking. :)
(Seriously though if you’re going to click any links go for the last two - they will hit the a/v on youtube)

I’m here Lou!–Linked-in.. Comfortably Numb was the homecoming theme for my Senior year in high school. About 75 of us swayed in a circle, arm in arm as it played…

Hey! Hello Ephraim!
That’s great. I wonder if the school knew what their homecoming theme was about?

Lou!
I’m totally here. Behind in my reading but glad to see this and the Halo post. I understand them which makes me feel comfortable, though also a bit numb.
My wife and I have a movie. It’s True Stories by the Talking Heads.
If we had a song it would be something simple like “The Happy Birthday Song.”
Real good, then.

Hi Jim!
You know what? That sounded so familiar I looked it up (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_Stories_%28film%29) and I’m certain we’ve seen that one too. Brenda’s a movie addict. It was a long time ago but I remember the guy talking to the camera from the car and the surreal vibe.
