Brenda, who you all know and love already, has spontaneously converted to all natural household products. The first I knew this had happened was when I came downstairs she told me to watch out - the floor was a little slippery from the olive oil. Olive oil and vinegar, it turns out, is an all natural thing you can use on hardwood floors.

And that was only the beginning. Lots of household cleaners have been replaced with home-made concoctions and alternative products like the old 18-in-1 Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps. I’ve used it before too, but it’s an example of one of the things she picked up shopping.
I asked her where her motivation was coming from and she said it was when she was reading about her memory. She’s more scatterbrained than ever recently and she came across a lot of things online about environmental chemicals and health. Which is great. It’s interesting living in a home with someone who uses olive oil on the floor.

Just a little tiny quote:
“I recently bought a 20” aluminum iMac as my family PC. Why? Easy – great form factor plus it’s one of the best Windows machines I’ve ever owned. “

Hello… hello… hello? Is there anybody in there?
Now I know for a fact that last post was dang funny. Is there anybody out there reading this stuff? Without comments I’m just whistling in the dark on this stuff people. :-)
On the subject of music links… Do most couples have a song? If they do it’s probably one of the two that decides what it is. As in, “Oh listen, they’re playing our song!” You know what I mean, no?
So your interesting trivia for the day: Brenda and my song is comfortably numb.
There is no pain you are receding… A distant ship smoke on the horizon… You would not understand - this is not how I am. Woooh! Wonderful, wonderful stuff. On par with go ask Alice. Very powerful.
But to the point! Please, leave comments! Otherwise to the best of my knowledge I’m talking to myself. Which is not uncommon. :) But I’m still curious if it’s worth the time spell checking. :)
(Seriously though if you’re going to click any links go for the last two - they will hit the a/v on youtube)

Although it was over with a little sooner than I expected. In Halo 3 I’ve successfully charged my way to the final credits amidst a spectacular display of sounds, cut scenes, and alien’s insides that were no longer inside.
Alex has chided me for this. Whenever he has played games that involved violence (are there other kinds?) I have instructed him to always first attempt to use words with the people and creatures he meets. It was watching me play one day when he pointed this out.
“Hey!” he would say, “You didn’t try to talk to him to resolve your differences - you just shot him in the head with a grenade.”
“It’s one of those gray areas,” I would explain, “sometimes words and grenades can mean the same thing. You see son, the grenade is a metaphor I’m using to explain my point of view. Metaphors can be very useful and extremely deadly. Unlike this pistol here. This pistol is more like a pun. Fairly useless for anything except to cause a few groans. Where are you going? Hey! Could you bring me a bowl of cereal? Metaphorically?”
Maybe someday I’ll teach him the meaning of the word hypocrite. I think I’ll compare it to driving a Warthog.
